A project conceived by guitarist/vocalist Cian Dahdouh and bassist Emmet McNamee, Dublin-based 3 piece Bucket seemingly appeared from nowhere with their debut album in the latter half 2021; breeding the DIY ethics of garage and punk rock, soon endowing a reputation

for their sweaty live shows. The band's debut headline saw them sell out The Workman’s Club, soon playing an array of wall-to-wall DIY shows across Ireland.

2023 marked a shift in sonic direction for the band, embracing elements of noise rock, hardcore and industrial to forge a unique and shockingly abrasive sound. Often referred to as the loudest band in Ireland, Bucket aim to test the limits of volume and intensity, delivering a punishing and energetic live show.

Bucket recently released their debut EP “Muck”, a welcomed addition to the bands catalogue following previous singles “Who Knows?” and “Budgie”. “Muck”is a blistering listening experience and a brutal display of the band's raw and chaotic sound. Bucket launched their EP with two sold out headline shows at Whelan’s upstairs venue in Dublin and The Shacklewell Arms in London.

The last year alone has seen Bucket go from strength to strength, making their Netherlands debut at zeitgeist festival, their US debut at the New Colossus Festival in New York’s iconic lower east side, playing two sold out sets at Supersonic Block Party in Paris as well as being one of only two Irish acts selected to showcase at Primavera Pro in Barcelona.

With new releases and touring on the horizon, Bucket seek to maintain the momentum amassed in 2025 so far and cement themselves as one of Ireland’s most promising exports.
