PROJECTOR + City Dog + That Band Called Susan
The Lexington, London
Formed in 2018, Brighton's PROJECTOR have carved out a unique space in the music scene with their bold, experimental approach. Combining angular industrial drum machines with hook-laden alt-rock and lush melodies with frenzied post-punk, their sound is as diverse as it is captivating. Known for their sonic breadth and inventive pop attitude, PROJECTOR has toured Europe with rock giants Cleopatrick and secured airplay on BBC Radio 6’s Steve Lamacq and Amy Lamé shows.
PROJECTOR’s debut album, NOW WHEN WE TALK IT’S VIOLENCE, showcases their ability to blend artful derangement, aggression, and catchy pop hooks. The album oscillates between the dark, industrial influences of Joy Division and the vibrant, hyperactive sound of Squid, featuring elements ranging from acid-soaked country to grunge-inspired tracks with Lana Del Rey-flavored choruses.
With a DIY ethos, PROJECTOR has maintained creative control over their output by self-producing and recording. Their intense live performances reflect the fervor of early Pixies, promising an electrifying experience.
