Concorde 2, Brighton
With their hypnotic rhythms and mesmerizing sing-song vocals, Stereolab is one of the most influential and distinctive bands to have emerged in the '90s. The art-rock group have recently announced that they will be dropping their next album titled ‘Pulse Of The Early Brain [Switched On Volume 5]’ on 2nd September, and are touring the UK, Europe, US and Canada to support the new release.
Stereolab announced the record alongside their newest single, ‘Robot Riot’. The track was originally written for a sculpture made by Charles Long - an artist that Stereolab had previously collaborated with on 1995’s 'Music For The Amorphous Body Study Center' project.
The avant-pop quintet last played Brighton to a sold-out audience back in 2019, and you can expect similar scenes this time around, so snap up your tickets quick!
