Under dramatic skies that inspired Turner’s paintings, Thandii’s alt-psych tunes were created. Produced, written and recorded in the seaside town – the creative force behind Thandii moved to Margate after a late night bet. The music is a collage of influences. From Funk/Boogie drums akin to the late 70’s, 10cc-like vocal harmonies, post-romantic 80’s synths and a song writing style from the psychedelic side of Shuggie Otis.
